Golden Fleece York

The Golden Fleece is a centuries-old coaching inn on the Pavement, right opposite the Shambles Market and a short walk from the Shambles itself. It's long been billed as one of York's most haunted buildings, which brings in as much curiosity as custom, and it has a restaurant and bar on-site. Google reviewers rate it 4.4 from close to 4,000 reviews, one of the highest review counts of any hotel in the city.
